Otterpelago is a closed-species Art Roleplaying Game (ARPG) created by Ziirahdane. In this world of islands and adventure, you can bring unique characters called Ottagi to life, develop their stories, and earn rewards through creative activities. This guide contains everything you need to know to create your account and begin your journey!
You must be 18+ to play in Otterpelago! Though the game is PG-13, some elements or themes may be more suited to mature audiences. For more details, check out our Terms of Service (ToS).
How do I join the site?
You don't need to own an Ottagi to make an account and explore, but you must have an account to be officially added to the masterlist. Before joining, be sure to read our ToS and Privacy Policy.
1. Sign Up
We recommend choosing a username similar to one you use elsewhere to help others recognize you. For the quickest signup, you can use an existing account like DeviantArt, Discord, or Toyhou.se.
Note: Yahoo emails may block confirmation messages; another provider is recommended.
2. Confirm your email
After signing up, check your inbox for an email with a confirmation link. If you don't see it within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder.
If it's been over 24 hours and it still hasn't arrived, please contact staff for help!
3. Verify your account
For security, verify your account in your [Account Settings]. This process is simplest if you signed up by authenticating with another service.
